We believe in taking a thorough and detailed job order with each client and work hard to research and understand the role and company. We adopt the same approach with our candidates, taking the time to meet and understand their experience, career aspirations and personal drivers to ensure a proper fit. We work closely with the client and the candidate throughout the process through interviews, references and negotiations and stay in touch for the long term to ensure a proper fit and satisfaction on both sides.

The 6 Step Process

Step 1
Step 1

The Job Order

We believe in actively recruiting the best individuals that are most suited and match the skills and requirements for every position that we recruit. As a result it’s important that we spend some time with you, the client to properly understand the position, the company and the culture to ensure we target the right individuals for the role. The more details and information you are available to provide us the better the chance of ensuring that the candidates that you are interviewing are a fit for the position and ensuring long term success. We believe spending a little more time at this stage in the process will save you a significant amount of time later on.

Step 2
Step 2

Sourcing & Recruiting

Once we have the details and information on your company and the role, we will spend some time researching the position and industry and developing a long-list of potential candidates from a variety of sources including our own network & connections, industry related groups, online resources and direct contact with similar companies within the same industry. • From this “long-list” we review the details and experience of each candidate and develop a list of suitable candidates that we will approach directly to present the details of the role and opportunity. We will discuss the position and details of the role and company with each candidate and at this time ensure a level of interest and screen out any candidates that may not be a fit

Step 3
Step 3

Developing a Short List

We will meet and interview each candidate that has expressed an interest in the role and looks to be a fit based on initial screening and spend some time with them to better understand their experience and skills, personality and often details not covered in their resume as well as their personal and career motivators for making a change. At this point we will also ensure we have an idea as to their expectations with respect to compensation and benefits and any other personal or logistical details that might be relevant to considering this position. After interviewing the candidates we will compile a “short-list” of candidates that we feel best suit the role and provide you, the client, with a complete resume accompanied by a summary for each candidate outlining key details and information about the candidate that are relevant to this particular position.

Step 4
Step 4

Your Interview Process

We will work with you to review and discuss each candidate to identify those you would like to potentially interview and will work with you to coordinate and organize meetings that are convenient for both the candidate and yourselves. We will follow up with each candidate following their interview and provide you with their feedback and in turn any feedback and information you can provide on the candidate at this time is also greatly appreciated.

Step 5
Step 5

References

Upon completion of the interview process, we will conduct full detailed reference checks on the candidate(s) that you are considering moving forward with and will provide you with complete transcripts of each reference. Our references are conducted with previous supervisors and industry relevant professionals that can speak confidently and directly about the candidate’s skills, experience and performance and each reference is completed with your specific role in mind.

Step 6
Step 6

Negotiating the Offer

Following completed references and selection of a successful candidate, we will work directly with the candidate and yourself through the negotiation process in presenting a formal offer to the candidate. Usually, we are quite transparent throughout the process in terms of expectations regarding compensation and benefits ensuring your expectations and the candidates expectations are closely aligned and as a result, we often find that very little negotiation is required at this point in the process with the exception of some minor changes in terms of start dates and benefits etc. At this time we will also notify those candidates that were not selected for the position and provide any feedback that you are able to provide.

Step 6
Step 6

Long Term

Following the successful placement of each candidate we still want to ensure that both the candidate and you are happy and successful for the long term. As a result we will check-in with the candidate and the client shortly after placement and periodically going forward to ensure there are no problems or concerns on either side and if necessary work with you and the candidate to hopefully communicate and address any issues where possible.
